DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINNERING (EEE)

GENERAL

Electrical Engineering course is one of the core courses in engineering discipline. This course is the important course for all applications in Engineering. There is a great demand for this course among the students in this region and the surrounding. The students’ intake up to now is 30. Considering the demand among the rural students, the AICTE has approved an increases intake to 60 from the existing 30. The Department has all the facilities in teaching and learning process and as well demonstrative facilities through various laboratories. The Department serves the needs of co-departments like ECE and CSE.

OBJECTIVE OF EEE DEPARTMENT

As the students' desire to pursue this course is very high, the Department’s objective is to take care of the academic interests of students in a perfect teaching learning segment. Further, the students are to be trained to have a sound competency in theory and practice together in this discipline.

LABORATORIES

In all practical aspects of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the EEE students should have specified practical knowledge in these two segments. To equip them competently in this regard, the Department has established laboratories housing machines and accessories like AC/DC machines, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Measurements & Instrumentation and Power System Simulation categories.

The Department has thus the following laboratories:

  • Electrical workshop
  • Electrical Machines –I
  • Control Systems
  • Measurements and Instrumentation
  • Electric Circuits
  • Electrical Machines –II
  • Power Electronics
  • Power system simulation

ADVANCED LEVEL EXPERIMENTS /EXERCISES:

  • Servo Motor Speed Control through MAT LAB.
  • Analog and Digital Simulation of Control Systems through Mat Lab
